These are select verses inviting us into thought, discussion, prayer, and action. The verses talk about the ways we respond to Gods saving grace and love.

They raise the questions that ask how do we go and do likewise? Care for our neighbor? Bear burdens? Feed sheep? Love one another? Love our enemy!? Do justice? Welcome the stranger? Feed the hungry? and more!

Following these verses does not make a person closer to God or earn any special religious bonus points.  Jesus does make a difference in our world. Much of that action is through the people of God who love others because Christ first loved us. (1 John 4:19)

As you enter into conversation with others, or possibly with yourself, or even in prayerful conversation with God, you may recognize your own faults or weakness. Don’t look for judgement, instead discover the invitation to join God in the care, love and creating of justice for all.
